1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this real estate platform ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service govern your use of our property listing and management services in Uganda.

2. Use of Services

Our Platform provides real estate listing, property search, and management services. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when listing properties
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Uganda

3. Property Listings

When listing a property on our Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to list and/or sell/rent the property
  • All information provided is accurate and not misleading
  • Property descriptions comply with Uganda's fair housing and advertising laws
  • Images and videos are genuine representations of the property

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to:

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensure your account information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Fees and Payments

Some services on our Platform may require payment. You agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described in our pricing plans
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Accept that fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Pay in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) or other accepted currencies

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Post false, inaccurate, or misleading property information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Scrape or mine data from the Platform
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in Uganda

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Platform.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiations between the parties
  • Mediation if negotiations fail
  • Ugandan courts if mediation is unsuccessful

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or Platform notification.
